Spring Floods and the Riverside Dyke:
13 years of bioengineering, flood control and public engagement. Meet at the North end of the Cameron Street Bridge.

Sat. June 4th, 9:00 a.m., 1.5 hours.
Can You Dig It: the story of Wascana Lake and the two big digs. Meet at the Queen Elizabeth II Statue in front of the Legislative Buildings.

Sun. June 5th, 9:00 a.m., 1.5 hours.

The Upper Lake and Far Away Place: glimpses of history including the power station, market gardens and the Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Meet at the Saskatchewan Science Centre Parking Lot.

 

Bringing Our Homes into a Net Zero Future

Victoria Park Heritage Conservation District

Buildings and structures surrounding Victoria Park provide a complete chronology of architectural styles of the 20th century. Meet at the Historic Sites and Monuments Board Plaque (center of the south side of the park).

A Retrospective Look at a 20-25-Year-Old Landscape

led by Ingrid Thiessen

Sun. June 5th, 7:00 p.m., 1 hour.
Revisiting landscape plantings to discuss what works well, what needs rejuvenation, and how to include native plants in landscaping. Meet at the parking circle in front of 'The Terrace' building (10 Research Drive).
